Sam Leith is a journalist, author and broadcaster. He is literary editor at the Spectator, a columnist at the Financial Times, the Evening Standard and Prospect, and his work appears regularly in the Guardian, The Times and the TLS. His books include Dead Pets, Sod’s Law and You Talkin’ to Me? Rhetoric from Aristotle to Obama. He has served as a judge on the Man Booker and Desmond Elliott prizes. The Coincidence Engine, his first novel, was published in April 2011 and was included in the ‘Waterstone’s 11’ list of the best first novels of that year.
