Dulwich College

The Dulwich Literary Festival is presented in partnership with Dulwich College, our generous venue sponsor. Dulwich College is an academically selective independent boys’ school. In 2019 the College will celebrate its quatercentenary, the 400 years since it was founded by Edward Alleyn. You can find more about the College by visiting their website



The SSLP is the Southwark Schools’ Learning Partnership. It is a unique collaboration between local maintained and independent schools based in, and around, the London Borough of Southwark in South East London. There are currently 14 schools in this growing partnership.

Dulwich Literary Festival has partnered with the SSLP to organise a one-off short story competition, open to students between the ages of 7 and 18. The competition will be judged by author Ali Smith and the winning stories will be published on The Dulwich Books website.

The Festival has also organised a free event for students at Charter School with classical musician and author of Trans Like Me CN Lester.

West Norwood Feast

West Norwood Feast is a monthly community-run street market festival. November Feast will be a special Writing Feast, taking place on Sunday 5th November with plenty of book-inspired events at various venues around West Norwood. To include poetry, creative writing activities, and show cases for local authors.
