28 Sep Tchaikovsky: The Man Revealed
Saturday 10th November
13.30 – 14.30
The music of Tchaikovsky, one of the greatest composers, has brought joy to many, yet the story of his life is one tinged with sadness and has long been mythologised and misunderstood.
Join celebrated Classic FM presenter John Suchet for a fascinating talk on this contradictory and complex character and his life, loves and friendships, as he draws back the curtain to reveal the real man behind the emotionally complex and much-loved music.
We are delighted that this event will begin with a short piano piece by Tchaikovsky, performed by one of Dulwich College’s music scholars.
Venue: The George Farha Auditorium, Dulwich College
Price: £10 or £25 including a copy of Tchaikovsky: The Man Revealed (RRP £25)
